For nearly 40 years, Great Expressions Dental Centers has been a leader in preventative dental care, orthodontics and specialty care with offices in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia. Great Expressions is consistently recognized for contributions to improving oral health through quality and safety initiatives, affordable dental care services, patient convenience, research and more.

In 2017, the CDI Group began their partnership with Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC), taking over the complete administration of the Smile Protection Dental Plan. GEDC was looking for a partner to provide a higher level of service to their members and providers.  The existing plan was completely revamped and enhanced, including the creation of a new website, customized fee schedules designed to meet each states specific requirements, development of new marketing initiatives and program materials, portal creation and maintenance, and ID card fulfillment. Customized metrics and reports were also a top priority for GEDC, ensuring full transparency for all patients enrolled in the plan.

The CDI Group worked closely with GEDC management to develop customized daily, weekly, and monthly audit and reconciliation reports to accommodate their information requirements. These reports were designed to be easily accessible and available on demand. Addressing the specific needs of GEDC, the CDI Group created an extensive training program to the more than 280 GEDC dental offices and corporate staff to ensure the transition and rollout of the revised plan was smooth. The on-site and webinar based training on the plan continues to be updated and available to all new and existing staff at the GEDC offices.

The CDI Group’s fully functional in-house call center created a customized and dedicated toll-free line for Great Expressions patients and offices. All incoming calls are answered by well-trained and friendly Client Service Representatives, with Spanish speaking representatives available during all hours of operation. Our Client Service Representatives stand ready to provide the highest level of service to Great Expressions members and offices through every step of the enrollment process, as well as, the entire duration of their membership.
